Extending discount terms from twelve months to lifetime value
CHICAGO, IL- 02/01/2016 –In celebration of its first anniversary of partnership with StreamSpot, the Union for Reform Judaism announced its generous gift of a lifetime 25% discount for StreamSpot streaming plans to all 900 member congregations in North America. The partnership previously honored a comparable discount for congregations to video stream their worship and education programs, although prior terms limited the discount to a synagogue’s first twelve months of service.
The URJ’s partnership with StreamSpot allows members to better reach congregants using live streaming for weekly services, life cycle events, and special programming, with no additional staff or action needed to broadcast. The perpetuity of the discount is a part of a shared commitment to offer congregations significant savings through the program and will be honored for both current and prospective URJ congregations using StreamSpot. In addition to the 25% discount on service plans, congregations also enjoy a 10% discount on all StreamSpot equipment purchases.
“The URJ is dedicated to offering member congregations meaningful discounts on items that are important to regular synagogue operations,” said Larry Glickman, FTA, Director of Network Engagement and Collaboration for URJ. “We are thrilled to continue working with StreamSpot, a trusted name in online video streaming, to bring a high quality, affordable and easy-to-use solution to the leaders of our sacred communities.”
StreamSpot, the industry's first 100% automated streaming provider, allows for simple setup and a seamless streaming experience for customers and their online viewers. Current URJ members using StreamSpot emphasize the value in not needing an onsite staff member to start and stop broadcasts and the vast and affordable outreach they provide to those in their congregation and beyond.
"The ability to work with the Union for Reform Judaism to provide affordable streaming solutions to their congregations is an incredible honor for StreamSpot. URJ members are entitled to substantial discounts, which will allow them to reach members using live streaming to those who cannot physically attend their services, especially due to difficulty or distance," said Brian Duerring, co-founder and CEO of StreamSpot.
